Lipozene Is Still Around??

I couldn't believe my eyes but I just saw a late-night TV ad for Lipozene weight loss pills. WOW! This crap has been on the market since 2005/2006 and I remember very clearly all the marketing BS that surrounded it when it first came out. But I hadn't seen an ad for it in a couple of years. Given the fact that it's basically just an over-priced, over-hyped fiber supplement I assumed they'd stopped making it...

Guess I was wrong!!

How can a product with such bad reviews stick around for so long? Are people really that desperate to lose weight that they would buy something with such a bad reputation? I certainly understand the desire for truly easy weight loss results but there are so many products out there that are so much better than Lipozene!

If you want a truly effective (and cheap) fiber supplement that will fill you up, reduce hunger, control blood sugar levels, and help you lose weight faster/easier try WellBetX PGX. It has the same appetite-suppressing glucomannan/konjac fiber as Lipozene without the high price and marketing BS surrounding it. I can tell you from personal experience that PGX is a real hunger-killer.

OR... just eat a simple diet based around large amounts of unprocessed plants foods -- including veggies, fresh fruits, beans, legumes, nuts, and seeds -- and enjoy TONS of healthy, easy weight loss benefits... :D

Do you have a Lipozene review, complaint, or observation? Want to try to convince me it's really not a scam/rip-off like I think it is? Leave your comments below!

Any 3 Minute Legs (Scam) Reviews?

OK so here's the deal: I saw the "3 Minute Legs" infomercial on TV for the first time late last night and I want someone to prove to me that it's not the dumbest fitness machine ever created. I mean dang! How can they sell this crap on television?? Please provide any reviews in the comments section below...

This "exercise machine" is apparently designed to help you slim down and tighten up your lower body. You know: butts, legs, thighs, hips, etc. How does it do that? With squat and lunge motions, 2 of the absolute best exercise movements in existence -- and not just for "lower body reduction".

But here's the 2 major problems with this scam product:
  1. It makes squats and lunges less effective by supporting your body weight and decreasing resistance. Why the heck would we want to do that? If anything, we'd want to make these movements a little bit more difficult by adding some resistance (like weights, resistance bands, or even a heavy book balanced on your head!).
  2. 2. It costs money. Why would someone pay money to do two of the best FREE exercises known to man?
Bodyweight squats and lunges are great if you want to boost your metabolism, burn fat, lose weight, build lean muscle, tone and tighten your lower body, and basically improve your entire body. In fact the bodyweight squat may be the single best exercise known to man! But don't waste your money on this incredibly dumb product.

If you really wish to make squats easier just hold onto the back of a sturdy chair or something similar while you do them. It will be significantly easier to balance and you can use your upper body strength if you need some assistance. If you do this type of "assisted squat" on a regular basis you'll soon build up your leg strength and stamina and you won't need a chair for help, much less the 3 Minute Legs gadget!

Don't agree with me? Then please share your own reviews and opinions of the 3 Minute Legs device. I'd love to hear why it's not the biggest piece of "fitness" crap ever and a huge rip-off. Thanks!! :D

Oh I almost forgot, here's a video of the 3 Minute Legs commercial:

That's just hilarious.

Monica's Diet Blog: Another Acai Scam Blog

I've been seeing ads for "Monica's Diet Blog" all over the internet the past few days. It's a great-looking site with photos of a cute blonde girl named Monica who apparently lost lots of weight quickly using those miraculous acai and colon cleanse supplements.

What makes this blog interesting is that it promotes several different acai and colon cleanse products. Each time you click on the links you get sent to a different "free trial" offer for a different weight loss product. In the few minutes I examined the site I was sent to 3 different generic acai product sales pages and 4 different colon cleanse sales pages. It sure does seem strange that the lovely "Monica" can't figure out which of the products she used to lose that weight and must constantly send her visitors to different companies' product pages!

Obviously this is just another fake weight loss blog that's designed only to promote crappy products that promise easy fat loss for little money. I'm sure that all the different products being promoted come from the same company and offer the same results: little or no weight loss and lots of headaches trying to get them to stop "auto-charging" your credit card and sending you their worthless products.

It's really a shame that a product that's as useful as acai is starting to get a bad name for itself just because of the actions of a few marketers.

The bottom line: stay away from Monica's Diet Blog and any other fake weight loss "blog" that looks like it!
